C.L.A.R.A.
Currier Lane Area Residents' Association
We are basically a Residents' Association with a practical concern for our mutual environment; especially in relation to heritage and historical aspects.
The area is almost naturally defined through road locations and in particular CURRIER LANE forms the central spine, and in itself is an ancient highway.
All residents are nominally members, so we are not seeking recruitment, and there is no fee charged
There is a guiding committee of about ten members resident in different parts of the area, who meet regularly in the Chirstadelphian Hall, to conduct business and exchange ideas.
A newsletter is circulated to inform the general public where there is a need for general opinion or reaction.
Revenue is dependent upon various sources to offset running costs and fund different projects.
We aim to maintain or improve the quality of life and foster an enlightened and community spirit.
