LIVING MEMORIES OF HYDE

We are a small group of people doing oral history and publishing the results. Our latest book, "Hyde Schoolday Memories" was published in November 2005 (ISBN 09516629-5-3), price £10.

"Schoolday Memories" is our sixth book, and follows the same format as our previous works - Living Memories of Hyde (1990, out of print), Quizzing Memories of Hyde (1992), Wartime Memories of Hyde (1996), Mill Memories of Hyde (1999, out of print), and Showtime Memories of Hyde (2002).

Over the years we have amassed a considerable archive, which has now been deposited with Tameside Local Studies Library in Ashton-under-Lyne. In due course it will be available for other people to consult and to use in their research.
